On Sunday StageOne participated in the Holy Trinity Pet
Service and provided an enactment of the God instructing Noah to build The Ark
and gathering his family, food and animals two by two. StageOne and members of
the congregation held palms up to form an entrance to The Ark and the church ministers
invited the rest of congregation to walk under it with their pets. This service
is now a tradition at Holy Trinity and new faces and pets of all sorts come
each year.
StageOne is a small amateur group, with enthusiastic members, who wish to get involved with new projects and commissions. However, we are not full time actors and we do this for enjoyment as a hobby; our ability to undertake projects does, sadly, have to be considered against our own work, Church and other commitments.

The “Psychologist’s Chair” and Script Writing Workshops | September 17th 2013
On Tuesday StageOne had a very interesting “Psychologist’s
Chair” with Roger Smith where everyone looked at disabilities and how we as
people react to them and how those people who have a disability may act or be
treated. It was very interesting and thought provoking because most of us will
readily label others as disabled and think they have a problem such as hearing or
blindness when in fact they don’t.
